The Pamirs - Roof of the World

The Pamirs, a renowned highland area celebrated for its towering peaks and rich cultural heritage, holds a special place in the world's geography. With elevations exceeding 7000 meters above sea level, it's aptly dubbed the 'Roof of the World.' The region captivates adventurers, scholars, and researchers alike with its fascinating mix of history, geography, and diverse ethnicities.

Adventure Services

One of the most breathtaking tours in the Pamirs is traveling to Sarez Lake. Formed during the 1911 earthquake, a massive landslide blocked the Bartang River valley, creating this young but stunning lake, named after the submerged village of Sarez.

Sarez Lake

Sarez Lake spans 80 sq km and stretches 60 km long. Known as the “Sleeping Dragon,” this gem of the Pamir Mountains was formed when the Usoy landslide blocked the Bartang River. Its mysterious beauty attracts travelers from around the world.
